It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Every year, Reims hosts a Christmas Market in the center of town. It’s filled with lights, trees, and little booths where you can get food, drinks, and gifts. I have had so much fun looking around, trying out new things, and buying gifts at the market!

Exams are finally over, which means that this semester is officially complete! Thank you so much for all of your support this semester 🙂

And, I am extremely excited to have 3 more semesters in France! Next stop, an internship in Paris in January!

Happy Holidays!

Until next year 🙂

Procrastination

Last month, I had the pleasure of visiting one of my Elon friends in Heidelberg, Germany! It was my first time visiting Germany and my friend was an awesome tour guide!  Highlights of the trip include a castle visit, exploring the town, and hanging out with friends. It was a wonderful relaxing weekend in a beautiful city.

Thanksgiving isn’t celebrated in France (they jump straight from Halloween to Christmas) but, I was lucky enough to not have any classes on Thanksgiving Day because of an Open House. I also got to celebrate Thanksgiving with the other Americans in CESEM at a delicious potluck dinner that was a great home-away-from-home celebration.

Tis the season for exams. My last day of class was Friday! Now all I have to do is finish my exams before I head home for the holidays—8 more days until they’re done; 13 more days until I’m home (but who’s counting). My first exam was yesterday, so 1 down, 9 more to go.

My internship search is going well! I have some interviews this week and am keeping my fingers crossed that something works out soon!

Until next time 🙂
